[ That sure was a Dazai.

Here Rean was, sitting on his bed, allowing himself to sit in a pile of sad and angry emotions until the other did his thing.

He received a look that was a combination of sadness, weariness, and exasperation. ]

...What do you think you're doing, Dazai? I hope you haven't been going around doing this to the others.

[ There's a pause as he sees that sadness there. He knows he saw it in the trial, but it's not an emotion he's acquainted with. And just like that, the hesitation is gone as quickly as it was there. He locks the door again as he gives a wave of his hand. ]

Just keeping my skills sharp. Don't worry, I haven't been doing this to others.

[ Just Ango. ]

Okay, that's a relief, I guess...

[ The exasperation cleared because who cared if it was just him. He's not anyone important.

Okay, that's definitely not true back home but Rean was upsetti and having a hard time, give him a break. ]

If you're going to be staying here for awhile, you can take a seat if you'd like. Next time I guess I could even see about making you a little something.

[ He'll sigh. ]

[ That offer at the end is exactly why he pulls this on Rean. Dazai will walk over and sit down on the bottom bunk. Rolling up the sleeves of his coat to his elbows. ]

It would be pretty bad to advertise what I can do with this group.

[ Leaning back, as he gives a grin that doesn't meet his eyes. ]

Don't blame yourself.

[ And another reason why Rean would keep it to himself.

Though, Dazai's next words caused Rean to flinch in surprise, and swallow thickly. He will probably see the other's face change, looking as if he were more sorrowful than before. Even if that wasn't quite it either.

Maybe because there was that surprise. ]

You wear your emotions on your face. You might want to work on that.

[ There's a pause, before he lifts his hand up slowly to give him a light pat on his shoulder. His life is full of death and people disappointing you or making hard choices. Dazai isn't the kind or nurturing type. He's not Oda.

So it's all he can really do. ]

I can help get your mind off of it for a bit.

I guess so. I can't help it.

[ It's true, he did wear his heart on his sleeve. So, he's not surprised, but to hear it said from someone else in a place like this caused the embarrassment to show briefly on his face.

He'll relax a bit from the patting, and...there's the offer. ]

...I really wouldn't mind a distraction right now.

[ It didn't hurt if it was for a little bit, right? ]

[ Don't relax around mafia, Rean. What are you thinking?

He does start to pat himself. Patting his jacket and then his shirt under it. Then he'll pull out the fancy bottle of whiskey that their hosts left for them. The really good and smooth stuff. ]

I got just the thing. We can work on training, too.

[ What was he thinking right now?

That's a fairly great question. But that being said, drinking a little wasn't a bad idea, as he's done it before with Randy back home and others.

Even by himself sometimes. ]

I wouldn't mind sharing a drink with you, but what kind of training?

[ He didn't have any room for any glasses, so they will just have to drink from the neck. Opening the bottle and offering it over to Rean to take a drink first. He'll point to his own face with his other hand. ]

Face training.

[ There is no way this will go wrong ]

[ He'll blink in surprise, but... he supposed if he did it carefully, it'd be fine.

Rean held out the bottle, tipping it so the liquid would pour into his mouth carefully, before he'd stop and hold it out to the other. ]

...This is really good.

[ His type of drink, almost. ]

But, uh how would we go about this training exactly?

[ He just drinks like that without any pause or second thought. ]

I wonder what it's like to be you? [ It's said quietly for a moment before he quickly says something else to keep Rean from actually responding to those words. ] Right? I think it was their second attempt to make people kill for them~ Giving a taste of what they can give if you do succeed.

[ It's pretty dumb. Just like this whole training thing while letting Rean drink. There's a pause before he makes a silly expression as he wiggles his fingers in Rean's direction. ]

I'll be my charming self and you just have to keep a straight face. If you face betrays what you're feeling, you have to take another drink.

[ How fast is Rean going to get drunk at this rate? ]

[ Good because Rean had nothing good to say about that right now. ]

...I really can't stand them.

[ He'll blink at the other being ridiculous and he frowned, thinking about it. He wasn't exactly in the best mindset to make decisions, but maybe it could help if people weren't able to read his every thought by his expression.

Even by words unsaid. ]

Alright. I'm game, let's do this.

[ He's going to get so drunk wasn't he. ]

[ Considering how the Lady reacted at the execution on top of everything else...

He decides not to keep this line of conversation going. Focusing on instead on getting the instructor drunk. ]

Alright~ Let's start with this. [ He'll reach over to press on both of Rean's cheeks (the face ones). ]

First, focus on one expression you want others to see the whole time.

...Riiight when the other pulled that, Rean's face lit up in surprise like this.

[ Rean, why are you so easy. This is just feeding the gremlin side. Lowering his voice as he takes on a little bit of a playful, almost flirty tone. ]

Definitely not that one, unless you want to be teased.

[ Taking the bottle from Rean to get a drink himself. ]

Maybe try smiling?

[ He almost could sigh at that, but ... Dazai actually did have a point? So, he supposed he had to try a little harder than that. ]

[ It's definitely a 100% Rean-certified smile. Gentle, soft, and full of undeniable warmth. ]

[ ...why is he soft? There's probably a noticable pause, and then he'll take a second drink before handing the bottle back over to Rean. Go ahead and take a drink. ]

That, but maybe less puppy face.

[ Reaching over to push at Rean's eyebrows. These are dangerous weapons for a soft boy what the hell. ]

Change this.

[ He'll take a drink, feeling the buzz already as he some more of that liquid down his throat, and then he'll hold it back out to Dazai. ]

...A puppy?

[ He lightly taps at the other's hands that're touching his eyebrows, a little playfully at first before pushing them away a bit. ]

Change it how?

A puppy. It's useful if you want people to take you home, but not here.

[ He's pretty sure the others, himself included, are the kicking puppies types. Get better taste in people you hang with, Rean.

Curling a hand under his chin. ]

We could always shave them. [ A beat. ] Just kidding. Try to keep them like mine.

[ Are Dazai's even visible? ]

[ Rean has an extremely limited amount of people he could hang out with who aren't dubious, so rip.

He'll actually sigh at that description, though he'll give the other an unimpressed look at the joke. ]

What do you mean 'keep it like yours'?

[ Maybe they should have picked his unimpressed face if he can give it so often.

There's a pause before he moves to lifts up his own bangs. He can see an eyebrow! It's relaxed. There's also the bandage that's part of what is covering his other eye. It looks like it wraps under his head, but his hair is hiding it pretty well. ]

[ He'll blink, looking right at it.

After that, he'll give the other a smile. ]

...So, how about this then?

[ Letting his bangs drop back in place as he gives a nod. ]

[ He'll wiggle his fingers for a moment in his direction. Totally looking like he's scheming something. ]

Hmm. Let's see... the floral guy throwing the party is a friend of yours?
