[ Taking the bottle from Rean to get a drink himself. ]

[ He almost could sigh at that, but ... Dazai actually did have a point? So, he supposed he had to try a little harder than that. ]

[ It's definitely a 100% Rean-certified smile. Gentle, soft, and full of undeniable warmth. ]

[ ...why is he soft? There's probably a noticable pause, and then he'll take a second drink before handing the bottle back over to Rean. Go ahead and take a drink. ]

[ Reaching over to push at Rean's eyebrows. These are dangerous weapons for a soft boy what the hell. ]

[ He'll take a drink, feeling the buzz already as he some more of that liquid down his throat, and then he'll hold it back out to Dazai. ]

[ He lightly taps at the other's hands that're touching his eyebrows, a little playfully at first before pushing them away a bit. ]

A puppy. It's useful if you want people to take you home, but not here.

[ He's pretty sure the others, himself included, are the kicking puppies types. Get better taste in people you hang with, Rean.

Curling a hand under his chin. ]

We could always shave them. [ A beat. ] Just kidding. Try to keep them like mine.

[ Are Dazai's even visible? ]

[ Rean has an extremely limited amount of people he could hang out with who aren't dubious, so rip.

He'll actually sigh at that description, though he'll give the other an unimpressed look at the joke. ]

What do you mean 'keep it like yours'?

[ Maybe they should have picked his unimpressed face if he can give it so often.

There's a pause before he moves to lifts up his own bangs. He can see an eyebrow! It's relaxed. There's also the bandage that's part of what is covering his other eye. It looks like it wraps under his head, but his hair is hiding it pretty well. ]

[ He'll blink, looking right at it.

After that, he'll give the other a smile. ]

[ Letting his bangs drop back in place as he gives a nod. ]

[ He'll wiggle his fingers for a moment in his direction. Totally looking like he's scheming something. ]

Hmm. Let's see... the floral guy throwing the party is a friend of yours?

[ Annnnd then his expression turned into something sheepish. Failed step one because of the question. ]

[ Offering the bottle back over for him to take a drink though. ]

You were apologizing for him. Pretty sure you gained gray hairs just from tonight.

[ Leaning in close to inspect Rean's hair. ]

Ah! I'm right.

[ He'll take another gulp, and his cheeks were a soft red now. He was a lightweight rip.

Rean tensed at the sudden movement and then at those words, he felt his heart skip a beat. Before he sighed, realizing there was no reason to be worried because he was sure Dazai was joking and lightly pushed at the other's shoulder. ]

Very funny, Dazai.

But yes, it was a little stressful dealing with the results of that display he threw up. He really meant no harm, but I knew he offended some people.

I could draw on your face, you can lose an article of clothing, or maybe even share something embarrassing?

[ He's ticking off each thing with his finger.

His expression doesn't change at Rean's reaction. Is he sure Dazai is merely joking? ]

Maybe drawing on my face would be fine. No permanent marker though, and I'm not wearing it outside of this room.

[ Maybe he has to commit now that Rean went through the trouble of ground rules.

Is he a student of yours? [ A beat ] What do you even teach, anyways?

[ Rean didn't even elaborate further here. Maybe he liked Dazai playing a little guessing game from time to time. ]

I teach history, mostly, and how to have my students take on real-life situations independently when needed.

[ Does he really want Dazai to play guessing? He'll curl a hand under his chin for a moment as he thinks about it. ]

He's a benefactor of the school and may have worked along side you on missions.

[ How close is he? ]

I could see history. Do you help out with combat training as well?

You're awfully good at figuring this out without knowing much about him.

In a way, yes. They already know how to fight, but if there's anything lacking in their form, I wouldn't keep from pointing it out.

There's already an Instructor for that, though.

It's a military academy then?

[ From combat training, war, and mecha skills... it sounds like it's an interesting school at least. Tipping the bottle towards Rean to see if he'll take another drink. ]

Haha, I suppose that's true.

[ And then he freaking slipped, so he would've had to take a drink anyway, which he did, gulping it down. That flush was sure more prominent on his cheeks.

But, it felt kind of relaxing, and it'd been awhile since Rean had felt so comfortable. Plus, after what had happened with Hyobu, maybe he needed this. ]

It is. It's a place called Thors' Branch military academy, which is located in Leeves, Heimdallr.

[ Those eyebrows are just going to betray them. He reaches up to put both hands on Rean's cheek. Using his thumbs to push up on those eyebrows if Rean doesn't pull away. What is personal boundaries? We don't even know.

He doesn't take the bottle back, partially to see if Rean keeps holding it, will he take a drink on his own, and partially because he's sure he'll slip again. Dropping his hands away as he leans back. ]

Are the mechas the giant robot kind of mechas?

[ Is this a fundam anime situation? ]

[ Normally Rean would actually kind of mind, but he's ... pretty inebriated by now? Also a lightweight, so. Yeah, he didn't even slap those hands as well.

Rean didn't take another sip though since he already had a moment ago, but he's not handing the bottle back just yet. ]
