Week 5 Sleepover

[ It's the same time and the same place. There are some changes this week. For starters, each mattress now has two mattresses stacked on top. There's an increase amount of pillows (over 12) and there's all the bedding that goes to each. Dazai has also stretched some fabric across the bottom half of the window and nailed it in place.

The other big difference is that they seem to be missing someone... Ango's spot is empty. ]

Dazai is over in the corner standing next to... a dragon mascot. He was planning on being a butt to Ango, maybe even kicking him but as soon as he sees him in the dim light... it's like several weights were lifted off of him. ]

Ango!

[ It's the tone of voice usually reserved for when they see each other again at the bar after a few days away. Give him a moment to go gremlin on him. ]

[Aww, that's enough to immediately take him out of his sour mood.]

What's this? You're excited to see me?

[ He'll walk over, grabbing an arm to pull him further inside of the room. Then reaching around him to close the door and lock it. Stuck in here now, binch. ]

You're late, idiot.

[ And also calling him out on being excited to see him. Why this ]

[Welp. He's yoinked in then.]

I'm not that late. And I told you I was going out for a bit anyway. Rean patrols every Thursday night and you don't give him grief about it.

[ No escape. He stays close for a moment longer before walking over to where Rean is. ]

That's because I go with him when he goes on patrol. [ BUDDY SYSTEM ] You're late. Super late.

[ Usually it's Ango who is on the receiving end of Dazai grabby hands his stuff, but this time it's Rean. Dazai is going to grab for the pocket watch Rean has to pull it out to show Ango just what time it is. ]

[ Rean just kind of reacted, and grabbed Dazai's hand, looking confused.

Oh. He'll look sheepish and let go. This just proved he needed sleep, honestly. But hey, the pocket watch is still out, so. ]

[ Whoops. There's a beat, as he looks at Rean for a moment. Putting a hand on his shoulder to give it a squeeze.

Then the moment is over as he opens the watch to show Ango it's around midnight-ish ]

[Why are you two like this?]

It can't be THAT late, can it? I thought for sure it would be closer to 11:30.

[Someone lost track of the time during a delightful conversation.]

[ Rean needs a nap that's why. ]

Where did you go, anyways?

[ This time, he's wordlessly offering the watch back to Rean before giving him a nudge towards the mattress. ]

[It's not even that late, they can go to bed soon anyway. Ango is still dusting himself off though.]

I went to talk to the Lady. I thought talking to her while she was expecting murder to happen would have better results, but in the end I wasn't able to get anything out of her.

[ Staring at him for a moment or two. That doesn't sound right and sounds even more stupid than just walking around alone.

He'll stuff his hands in his pocket. ]

Surprised she didn't just hand you over whomever is stupid enough to take her deal.

[ Time to grab the chair the mascot is occupying to put up the real trap. ]

[LOOK. He has plans, ok?

And he actually pauses for a moment to look at that mascot, because wtf Dazai]

Why is that thing even here?

[He's skipping over Dazai's words there on purpose, shhh.]

[ Don't think he hasn't noticed that he's skipping over his words. He's letting it slide for the moment because he's soft for his friend ]

I was going to surprise you with it.

[ Who knows, Ango might still get a surprise in the morning when he wakes up to find it beside him. ]

Might leave it by the door in case anyone does come in.

You're going to stick that thing in bed next to me when I go to sleep and make me scream when I wake up.

[ He's helping you live your dream of being sandwiched between two dragons. yw. ]

It would be like hugging a giant stuffed animal.

[ Not that Dazai would know how that would feel. ]

I also have a spear if you prefer.

[ Just going back to the closet to pull out the engine spear thing of Ignis' ]

[he totally hugged the stuffed dragon didn't he?]

Oh, you got weapons too? I got two as well. A lance and a sword.

[ ...he had to haul it around. Also he tried picking up Rean while he was wearing it? ]

There was something blue with blue eyes launching itself at me. I think it's the slimes our Twilight Friends mentioned. I did order some fireworks.

[ Which will be a lot of fun :D ]

Ah. I saw those slimes too.

[He's not going to admit that they scared the shit out of him.]

Planning for a celebration, then?

[ He'll go to his closet to pull out the six pack of fireworks. Don't look too closely as to what he has in there, Ango. ]

Maybe~ I can use the gunpowder inside for another kind of trap.

[ Probably against lady ]

[he's throwing that thing out as soon as Dazai is asleep.]

You might as well just use the fireworks. Make a pretty trap.

[ it's okay he no longer needs it which is the worst thing. ]

That would be fun~ I don't think Seteth would approve though.

[ Since it could hurt someone...which is the point of the traps. ]

[ Though he'll step in closer to Ango to brush a little of that flour off. ]

[ Rean will take it, smiling a little sheepishly, letting Dazai do the questioning and heading back over to the bed... ]
