[ They can have this conversation, while Dazai is attempting to shake the water from his suit's coat. So he's just in the white button up and his slacks, looking very much like a wet cat in places. Parts of his top are see through thanks to where the water managed to hit, like his chest and shoulders. He can probably make out the bandages continuing beyond what's usually visible. ]

Wondering if I've seen your profession yet?

[ Glancing at him with an unreadable expression. Hmm. ]

That, and how old some of the others here are. Half of them probably aren't even human.

[But that's not the point of this talk, is it? There's no avoiding the truth, and if he is honest about it then he can tell the truth that he wants to tell. ]

We all left. It happens shortly after the point in time you're from. Everything involving Mimic was just too much, and we left.

[ We all left. He can tell there's a note of truth there, but leaving the Mafia wasn't something he could see ever happening. There were too many risks, he would have had to vanished completely first to keep Mori from dragging him back.

[Ah yes, Pizza. Ango has met him too, and he's a strange one.

But Ango doesn't get to comment on it, because wow that question.]

I don't really know, he never said anything about it to me. Hopefully he has, he more than earned it.

[ There's a little bit of warmth touching his expression there. Even if he was trying to trip Ango a little with the question, he's actually really glad that Oda is moving on with his life. The one member of the mafia who refuses to kill...

He isn't going to fool anyone with that. And he's not the only one with an abnormally long lifespan, if that information is to be believed. He's being too self-conscious.

They definitely aren't. I saw her writing something in her native language, it was a mix of greek and latin letters that formed words I couldn't understand.

She told me this place was like this when she got here. She also has been to various worlds to study their tech. She was talking about pictures when I saw her on Monday.

So two antagonists find an abandoned town and put it to their own uses, hmm? That sounds too convenient.

Right? She also got pretty touchy when I asked for a tour of the castle.

It sounds like we need to take a tour ourselves at some point.

I wouldn't be surprised if she has traps set up. It sounds like it'll be a lot of fun.

It would be. We'll have to be very careful though, I don't want to think about the death that awaits us if we get caught.
